MISSIONS
Roslyn Presbyterian Church (RPC) supports the Long Island Council of Churches Food Pantry in Freeport with monthly deliveries of food we have collected as well as budgeted donations. A second annual contribution aids families of children with cancer. Through NYU Langone’s Cancer Center for Kids, Target gift cards are given to the families during the Christmas season.
We budget and pay annually to the Long Island Offerings of the Presbyterian Church USA. During Lent, we collect for One Great Hour of Sharing. In September we donate to Peace and Global Witness—Sowing the Seeds of Peace; the collection is received on World Communion Sunday in October.
